Dedicate yourself to photography, but never browbeat yourself too much. 10. Keep your camera clean. 11. Never compare yourself to others in a better or worse context. 12. Find your own style of photography. 13. Seek out and learn to accept critique on your images. 14. Do something different to recover creativity. 15. Get inspiration from the work of other photographers. 16. Criticize honestly but respectfully. 17. Don't copy other photographer
's style. 18. Read books about photography. [use google as an alternative XD] 19. Every shooting situation is different than you expect. 20. Keep your sensor clean, so you can save some work cleaning your image in post production. 21. Discover the things you think are beautiful. 22. It takes time to become a good photographer. 23. The best equipment is that what you have now. 24. You can't take photographs of everything. 25. Everyone has to start little. 26. Your opinion about photography is important! 27. Speak about your experiences with your photo buddies. 28. Limit your photograph to the substance. 29. Always remember what brought you to photography. 30. Never shoot a person who doesn't want to be photographed. [ooops] 31. Always turn around, sometimes the better image is behind you. 32. It's who's behind the camera, not the camera. 33. Mistakes are allowed! The more mistakes you make, the more you learn! 34. Know your camera, because searching the menu button in the night is time you don't want to waste. 35. Shoot as often as possible. 36. Believe in yourself. 37. Never trust your LCD. Normally it is brighter and sharper as the original image. 38. Learn to enjoy beautiful moments when you don't have a camera with you. 39. Pay attention to structures in the sky and wait until they fit into structures in the foreground. 40. Print your images in big size. You will love it. 41. Calibrate your monitor. Working with a monitor that is not accurate is like being together with someone you can't trust. It always ends badly. 42. Don't think about what others may say about your image. If you like it, it's worth publishing. 43. Fight your laziness ! Creativity comes after discipline. 44. Ask yourself : What do you want to express in your images ? 45. Always try to think outside the box, collect new ideas about photographs you could do and ask yourself : Why not? 46. Search for a mentor. 47. Photography is never a waste of time. 48. A better camera doesn't guarantee better images. 49. Have fun! 50. Love what you are doing.
I'll add one last.. 'Photography is not all about knowing and mastering technicalities- converting raws, shutterspeed, high iso.., depth of field, aperture and all of those shit.., it's about applying your own style and creativity when taking photographs.' :)

Inexplain ng tatay ko na GLOBAL crisis ang oil price hike at hindi gaguhan ng mga oil companies (in short, nagkakaubusan na talaga ng oil). Tapos kapag tinanggal yung VAT, wala ng pambili ang gobyerno sa mga NFA rice na binili nilang mas mahal na binebenta nilang mas mura, edi wala ng pagkain mga mahihirap.. tapos edi rally nanaman at kung anu-ano. Humirap nga tayong lahat nung nagkaVAT, pero looking at the brighter side, at least LAHAT tayo nagcocontribute (unwillingly nga lang)... kaysa naman walang VAT e pano na tayo niyan, wala na. This is probably one of the not-really-major-but-kind-of-major (what) failures I have encountered in my entire life. Well, I don't exactly see this as a 'failure', I think of this as a learning experience.
I thought and assumed that selling shirts is an OK thing to do in DLSU-M (selling should be an activity of an organization @_@). I thought wrong. I also thought it was okay to use the "lasallian" word since there were "I think therefore I am a Lasallian something" shirts before. I posted the exact design on my bahaghari.org, deviantART account... and nobody mentioned that using the "lasallian" word without La Salle's consent and blabla was illegal. Akala ko "La Salle" lang yung bawal.
I know, noone is to be blamed for this to happen.. except me. :\ I am not exactly 'depressed'. I am just sad.. and disheartened.. and disappointed (nge). How could I be so ignorant and forget to read the student handbook?
Gracie and I went to the Student Council office to ask questions pertaining to the usage of the word "Lasallian". Imagine my reaction when I learned that I could get a minor offense because of this petty selling of shirts. I couldn't help but cry there. Nakakahiya nga e. So yeah, the person there (forgot her name, she was really kind and she didn't mock me.. ) told me to just stop selling the shirts and that would make the situation much better. I told her that if somebody's already looking for me because of the 'illegal' selling, tell that person/them that I have already stopped the selling. I asked her what about the "little miss green archer", etc.. she said they're already looking for the person who's behind it all.
Good thing there were not too many shirts that have been sold to people as of this moment. If you are one of the people who already have bought a "I am a Lasallian" shirt, please do ask me for a refund. I am more than willing to give back your money. If you still haven't paid me and you've already gotten the shirt, please do give it back. Sorry for hassling or troubling you.
The whole process before actually selling the shirts wasn't easy. I had to find a cheap shirt printing factory (whatever you call that). I had to have capital. Since my parents couldn't give me money, I withdrew money from my savings account.I promised to myself that I would deposit back the money ASAP. I re-designed the shirt since the first design was too small. There were too many preparations and yet, at the end.. I still failed. I just wanted to experiment and experience how to sell actual products that I myself have made. The profit that I would be getting from the shirts would be saved (to be used in the future)... or used to have my speedlight fixed (I don't want to bother Kuya and my parents anymore).
Many of you are probably wondering what I am going to do with all the (practically useless) shirts. Well, I am planning on saving up / purchasing a small electric sewing machine. I'm planning to buy fabrics and all those cute shiznit to cover up the design. I know this process would take a lot of time but now, I am more determined than ever. The designs will not be anymore school-related.
It was fun to have "I am a Lasallian" shirts for even a short period of time. I don't regret anything that has happened already. Looking on the brighter side, people appreciated the design I made. During the DLSU-ADMU game, a Lasallian cheerleader approached me and asked me where I bought the shirt (good thing she didn't plan on buying! XD)... and the feeling was great.
I am not going to cry anymore. This will soon pass. This incident will not hinder me from focusing and obtaining my ultimate dream (to open up my own shop / clothing line in the future).
Sorry for the overly dramatic entry. I just need to let all of these out.

Ako lang ata naglakas ang loob makipagsapalaran sa footbridge na parang binabaha.. lahat sila nastranded sa labas ng Mercury Drug / KFC / BERKELEY.. so ayun.. grabe talagang niyakap ko yung mga libro ko. Sabi ko sa ulan "NOT MY BOOKS, BITCH!" tapos kinidlatan ako.. ulewl syempre imagination lang yun hahahahaha.. ang mahal ng books ko no, halos tig P600 ata yun... di ko na nga siningil nanay ko kaya ginamit ko allowance ko. Syempre hello!! Mabait to!! Mabait na bata!!! At hindi ako defensive porket maraming exclamation point okay!!!!!!!!!!!!
So ayun puta sht nasurvive ko na ang footbridge!!! OMG tapos yung problema ko na lang, pano magcocross ng street kasi doon yung tricycle-an... Grabe naawa ako dun sa nagbebenta ng fishball, yung sauce ata niya ulan na yun e.. hahaha. Ay tumawa. Ay anyway ayun, so nagsignal ako ng S.O.S. (syempre exagg ulit haha) dun sa manager ng mga tricycle drivers... Kasi shit di ko kaya magcross ng street tapos daming kotse.. parang ang dulas ng kalye baka mabundol ako ng kotse e. Tapos grabe pagpasok ko ng tricycle, okay thankyou ha... parang butas pa ata yung bubong. Tumigil yung trike kasi inaadjust yung parang pantakip para hindi maulanan [na hindi naman umepekto], tapos may mama (as in ma-ma, hindi mama na nanay mo.. haha okay) na parang mukhang stranded din na hindi nakakaintindi ng tagalog.. ewan ko kung taga-india o ewan. So naawa ako pinasakay ko sa tabi ko, mukha namang disente. Subukan lang niya i-take advantage ako at lulunurin ko yun sa kanal at papaswimming ko yun kasama mga daga na napakacute grabe parang kasing laki ng pusa.. hahaha. Okay so ayun, ganda ng tactics ng mama kasi nung binaba na siya, inabot niya P100.. DAH. Tama ba yun. Malamang walang sukli si manong tricycle driver!! Edi nakalibre siya... haay nako putek akala ko mababawasan na ng 7 pesos yung P35 na babayaran ko.. hahaha anyway.
So ayun, ang ganda ng tricycle ride experience ko!! Feeling ko nasa dagat kami!! Nawisikan pa ako ng tubig sa lupa / ground (hahaha umenglish. di ko lam kung pano iexplain e..) kasi mabilis yung tricycle... sa mata ko pa napunta yun ah. Thanks ah. Tapos pag-uwi ko.. syempre sabi ko "Dun po sa malaking puno, Kuya dun nga e!!" (biro lang hahaha) , ayun. Nandoon pala tatay ko. Sana pala nagpasundo na ako. E kasi naman nalowbatt yung globe at sun ko.. grabe ang malas.
